Science Valais is pleased to present the online workshop: “Improving Public Engagement with Science” during its annual networking day!

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, science communication and public engagement towards science-related topics have become prominent. More than ever, science communication needs to form a relationship of mutual learning between scientists and members of the public.

Supported by the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences, the Communicating Sciences and Arts in Times of Digital Media Group has published the first comprehensive assessment report on science communication in Switzerland. Based on the report, we will discuss how to formulate science communication methods that effectively engage the public during this online workshop.
